Budget-friendly micro-ATX motherboard aimed at compact builds and everyday tasks. It falls into the entry-level price segment and is part of MSI PRO 2025's corporate lineup, most of which are hardworking workhorses for office builds and entry-level gaming systems. The board is crafted using reliable components and a basic protection system, designed for prolonged uninterrupted operation under a variety of conditions.
Thanks to its compact form factor, it easily fits into small cases while maintaining a sufficient set of interfaces for daily work. Part of the MSI PRO series, targeted for stable round-the-clock operation in office systems, entry-level workstations, and multimedia home PCs. The MSI PRO A620M-B is equipped with the AM5 socket and is compatible with the latest generations of AMD Ryzen processors, including the Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series.
For storage connectivity, it features one M.2 slot with a PCIe 4.0 interface and four SATA ports, making it compatible with both modern NVMe SSDs and classic HDDs. Two DIMM slots can support up to 128GB of DDR5 memory with an operating frequency of up to 6800 MHz and support for EXPO profiles. Functionality expansion is possible with one PCIe 4.0 slot for a graphics card and one PCIe 3.0 slot for peripherals. The audio is based on the Realtek ALC897 codec, supporting 7.1 multi-channel audio. Networking functions are handled by a gigabit Ethernet controller Realtek RTL8111H.

Turbo Internet
MSI PRO A620M-B is one of the most affordable AM5 motherboards, equipped with two DDR5 DIMM slots supporting speeds up to 6800 MT/s (in asynchronous mode). Unlike the E version from two years ago, the B revision gets a faster 2.5 Gbit/s Ethernet adapter. The A620 chipset doesn’t allow overclocking of CPU cores and the integrated graphics, but it does support high-speed XMP and EXPO memory profiles.
Steel Armor
The VRM power delivery uses a 6+2+1 layout for the CPU, iGPU, and DRAM. There’s no heatsink on the MOSFETs; however, AMD PBO automatically lowers frequency to prevent overheating. The M.2 slot for an SSD supports the Gen4 standard with bandwidth up to 7400 MB/s, and the PCI Express x16 slot is reinforced with a metal frame to protect against bending and breakage when installing heavy graphics cards.
Digital and Analog
For the integrated graphics, there are two video outputs — digital HDMI and analog VGA. A modern Type-C port is routed via an internal header to the case’s front panel. There’s no AGESA BIOS flashing button via USB, which would be needed to support future Ryzen 9000F and 9000G, but the EZ Debug LED diagnostic system makes it easier to troubleshoot the PC’s main components.
