A compact micro-ATX motherboard on the AMD B850 chipset, designed for gaming and high‑performance PCs with a focus on reliability and advanced connectivity. As part of the MAG lineup, it undergoes rigorous quality control to withstand prolonged operation under peak loads, from demanding 4K gaming to complex data processing tasks. Socket AM5 is ideal for AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 series chips (Zen 4/5), with power headroom up to 170W TDP.

A fairly powerful power delivery subsystem (12+2+1 phases, Duet Rail with 60A SPS) with Core Boost architecture ensures stable CPU power even with aggressive PBO. Four DDR5 DIMM slots in a dual‑channel configuration can accommodate up to 256 GB of memory with a maximum frequency of MHz. RAM supports AMD EXPO and MSI Memory Boost auto-overclocking and optimization technologies.

The MSI MAG B850M MORTAR WIFI supports the latest high‑speed system interface PCIe 5.0, significantly increasing data transfer speeds with storage. The board is equipped with three M.2 slots (2x5.0, 1x4.0) with integrated heatsinks for heat‑prone Gen5 SSDs. On top of that, the board is well equipped, featuring excellent network controllers (5‑gigabit Realtek 8126-VB LAN + Wi‑Fi 7) and a high‑quality audio system based on the Realtek ALC4080 chip with support for Audio Boost 5.
