Rare switches
Patriot Viper V730 is a gaming mechanical keyboard made of aircraft-grade aluminum with rare Kailh Brown switches. It’s the entry-level model in the Patriot Viper keyboard lineup and is priced lower than competitors using the same switches. Brown micro-switches are something in-between Blue and Red. The key travel is the standard 2 mm to actuation and 4 mm to bottom-out, with an actuation force of 45 grams. There’s a crisp tactile bump, but no loud click sound. This makes the keyboard a great choice not only for gaming but also for typing large volumes of text, including in a busy office.
Keystroke stabilization
Large keys like Shift, Backspace, and the spacebar on the Patriot Viper V730 have additional wire stabilizers so presses register across the entire key surface. Naturally, there’s no annoying rattling or clanking. The Fn key is in place of the right Win key and is marked with a “snake’s maw” — the Patriot Viper brand symbol. Lighting profiles
