Gaming headset from Razer, which is designed in the form factor of over-ear headphones with an adjustable headband and passive noise isolation. The model belongs to the middle price segment and is an upgraded version of the 2022 Razer Barracuda headset. Its main feature is support for a wide variety of gaming devices (PC, smartphones, PS4 / 5, Nintendo Switch, etc.), as well as the Smart Switch function, which allows the headset to instantly switch between several connected devices.

To do this, the model provides all popular types of connection - Bluetooth v 5.2, a radio channel at a frequency of 2.4 Hz, a 3.5 mm minijack and a pair of USB-C to USB A adapters. The Razer Barracuda X 2022 can be called an ergonomic headset: an adjustable headband with a soft backing the snug fit, the Flowknit fabric ear cushions are well ventilated and have a memory effect, and the total weight of the design is only 250 grams.

Utilizing next-generation Razer Triforce dynamic drivers with a special metal diaphragm and neodymium magnets, the headset is perfect for any esports discipline and a wide range of single-player games that require responsiveness. For speech transmission, the device is equipped with a hyper-cadioid microphone on a flexible shaft with support for digital noise reduction and proprietary HyperClear Mic technology. The battery life of the headset is 50 hours. In the Razer Audio mobile app, you can adjust the sound with an equalizer, turn on virtual sound (note: works only on a PC), remap the functions of physical buttons, update the firmware, or check the battery charge.
