THX SPATIAL AUDIO function.

High-quality closed-type gaming headphones with a wired connection and a detachable microphone on the headband. They are positioned as a product of the upper part of the middle price category, aimed at beginners and accomplished e-sports players. Also, this model will be of interest to a wide range of ordinary users who are fond of computer games and who want to purchase a solid wired headset with impeccable surround sound, an optimized microphone and excellent sound isolation.

Utilizing next-generation Razer Triforce dynamic drivers with a titanium-plated diaphragm and neodymium magnets, the Razer BlackShark V2 headphones deliver detailed soundstages perfect for multiplayer shooters and games with large open spaces. The ear cushions are made of a special foam polymer material that has shape memory and repeats the anatomical features of the player's head.

The breathable structure minimizes the buildup of sweat and heat in contact with the skin. The Razer HyperClear microphone is mounted on an adjustable boom that takes any shape. The headphones are connected to a PC using a bundled USB stick with a built-in sound card, which is fully configured using Razer Synapse software. An optional analogue cable allows you to work with the Mac platform and PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Razer BlackShark V2 headphones are highly regarded for their lightweight and comfortable design, featuring fabric ear cushions that ensure comfort during extended use. Users appreciate the excellent sound quality and the inclusion of a sound card with flexible adjustments, enhancing the overall audio experience. The headphones are noted for their sturdy construction and effective noise isolation, making them suitable for gaming and music. However, some users mention the non-detachable and short cable as a drawback, and the microphone quality is considered average for its price range. Despite these minor cons, the headphones are praised for their price-quality ratio, making them a strong contender in their segment. The design, reminiscent of military headsets, provides a secure fit, although the cups may slide over time. Overall, the Razer BlackShark V2 offers a great balance of comfort, sound, and durability.

In terms of price-quality ratio, the best option in its price segment on the market.

Logitech and Hyperix were not close.
-Excellent sound
-Great software
-Sturdy construction
-Excellent noise isolation
-Comfort. The headphones are comfortable from the first minute and fit like they were made for you.
-All necessary buttons are right on the headphones
-Excellent positioning in games like Siege
-Very pleasant fabric
-If you make the sound louder, everyone around will hear what's in your headphones.
-Absence of RGB lighting (depends on the person, not sure if it's a downside)
-For this price, the microphone is not the best. It's not bad, just average, nothing more.

Well, you still need to understand that these ears cost 5k, and the hypers are already 6k. So far so good
6 April 2021
I'll say right away that I will compare these headphones with the HyperX Cloud Silver, because after they broke under warranty, I got my money back, and with a 500 ruble discount, I bought these headphones at DNS for 5k (the Hypers cost 5600 rubles at the time of purchase). Also, this review is based on the facts about the V2 X model, as this is the only model I found. For reference, this model differs from mine in that mine has leather ear cushions and headband, no USB sound card, a different cable, and the microphone seems to be non-removable.
P.S. If something happens or my opinion changes, I will edit the review.
- lightweight, quite comfortable, it was even unusual after HyperX with a weight of over 300 grams, ears don't sweat or get tired, BUT in defense of HyperX, I will say their cup mounts are much bigger and more reliable, so it's a 50/50 here.
- although people say the bass here is less dominant than in Krakens and similar Razer models, it's still noticeable. (in fact, I kind of like it more this way)
- the microphone is decent, better than HyperX's.
- good package (case, stickers, adapter-extension, documentation, even small things like that are nice).
- and the L-shaped cable is also cool.
- the cable is not braided and a bit short, but it's not particularly critical considering that it is L-shaped
- the construction doesn't inspire much confidence; I've had the headphones for just over a week, but I hope they remain intact for at least a year
- the sound is a bit low, but this is also not a huge downside; maybe I'm just used to very loud music, but they are definitely quieter than Hyper ones

The best choice for its price
25 December 2024
When choosing headphones, my main criteria were:
- fabric earpads
- USB connection
- lightweight design that doesn't press on the head
I decided on this model because, in my opinion, it was the best choice for the price-quality-comfort-sound ratio.
- fabric ear cushions
- USB connection
- lightweight design that doesn't press on the head
- really good sound
- software
- durable construction
- non-detachable cable
- short cable
- microphone quality
