The Razer brand's gaming full-size headset from the Blackshark line can be classified as a solution at the crossroads of mid-range and advanced class. The model supports hybrid connectivity—wired (using a mini-Jack (3.5 mm) socket) and two wireless options—via Bluetooth or radio (with the included dongle). This feature provides versatility and broad compatibility: the Razer Blackshark V3 headphones can be used with gaming PCs and laptops, consoles, smartphones, tablets, and so on.
High-quality sound is delivered through 50-mm dynamic drivers, and effective noise isolation is ensured by the over-ear closed-back design. Notable features include THX SPATIAL AUDIO technology, which supports virtual surround sound (7.1 format), intended to offer the potential for a better and more immersive gaming experience. A detachable microphone on a flexible boom is provided for communication with other gamers or answering phone calls.
Other gaming features include the ability to adjust step volume, customize the sound balance in games and chats, a microphone monitoring option to control volume, etc. Equalizers can be adjusted, available presets selected, control buttons reassigned, and other settings managed via the proprietary mobile app on a smartphone. One of the model's strong points is good autonomy, with the battery providing up to 70 hours of music playback (when connected via radio).

the advertised features work, but for me, sound and volume are more important than wireless gimmicks. Due to the reduced ear cups, the ears don't sit very comfortably. As for the sound, it's muffled and "boomy," the soundstage is narrow, the volume is lacking, and everything sounds unnatural, especially if you're used to decent wired solutions. Listening to music is tough. I think for this price, it's better to go for a wired combo — a DAC + good headphones, it's truly more interesting and the sound quality is significantly higher. Stable wireless connection with low latency, convenient for gaming Good microphone for voice communication and chat Convenient control buttons and volume wheel Decent positional audio in games — footsteps and directions are read normally The ear cups are smaller than previous versions — ears feel cramped, and discomfort quickly sets in. The sound is muffled and "boomy," especially with music. Lacks volume reserve. The soundstage is narrow, and the sound feels "compressed." The presentation of instruments is unnatural, especially noticeable after using normal wired headphones. More geared towards gaming than music. |
