Rugged waterproof compact camera for extreme shooting conditions. In practice, the model relies on a 16-megapixel back-illuminated image sensor with a maximum sensitivity of ISO 6400. As an optic, the camera has got a zoom lens with a five-fold optical zoom of 28-140mm f / 3.5-5.6. Around the lens you can see LED-backlight bulbs, which turn on in macro mode and "digital microscope".
The Ricoh WG-80 boasts an electronic stabilizer with three modes of operation: Pixel Track SR, Digital SR mode, Movie SR mode. Video is recorded on a secure camera in the maximum resolution of Full HD - 1920x1080 pixels at 30 fps. A 2.7-inch screen with a resolution of about 230 thousand pixels is proposed for sighting during the shooting. The camera is able to work without a protective box at a depth of up to 14 meters under water for two hours. Also, the model can withstand falls from a height of up to 1.6 m and a load of up to 100 kgf. The minimum operating temperature for the camera is stated to be -10 °C. The device weighs less than 200 g.
