Self-Supporting Structure

The three-season Salewa tent successfully combines reliability with moderate weight — 3.45 kg fully equipped. This is largely due to the strong 9.5 mm aluminum poles. There are three in total: two main ones form the sleeping compartment, and the third, shortened and not touching the ground, increases the height in the entrance area and makes the vestibules more spacious. The model's structure is self-supporting, so the tent can maintain its shape even without stakes and reflective guylines: they are more for additional stability and reliability in strong winds. Also, note the relatively low ceiling — up to 107 cm in the sleeping area — and moderate size when packed, with a cover volume of less than 20 liters.

Two Entrances and Two Vestibules

The Salewa Denali III features a standard-sized bedroom of 210x180 cm, sufficient for three average-sized adults. There are two entrances, making movement easier and helping to ventilate the interior space more effectively. Additionally, there are two vestibules, each 65 cm long, with a useful area of about 1 m², where backpacks, outerwear, and other gear can fit without problems. For additional comfort in nature, there are mosquito nets, various door opening options, auxiliary ventilation, and a shelf under the ceiling.

Good Water Protection

The inner part of the tent primarily features mesh sidewalls, which enhance air circulation and simultaneously reduce the overall weight of the structure. The outer flysheet is made of polyester with a water resistance of 3000 mm and a Ripstop weave, which increases the material's resistance to tearing. The floor is made of nylon and is even better protected from moisture, withstanding water pressure up to 5000 mm.
