A smartphone with a foldable screen has become a confident step into a new generation of smartphones. When folded, the Samsung Fold is no different from a traditional compact phone with a 4.6-inch external screen. If you open the two halves connected by a hinge, you will see a holistic Dynamic AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 7.3". Screen resolution 2152 x 1536 pixels.
Powerful hardware
The Galaxy Fold is equipped with a 2.84GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor and 12GB of RAM. In addition, 512 GB is allocated for data storage. The operating system on the smartphone is Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung One UI shell and dual screen support.
6 cameras
Special attention should be paid to the camera system, which consists of 6 lenses located in different parts of the gadget. Main cameras: #1 – 16MP ultra-wide, #2 – 12MP wide, #3 – 12MP telephoto. They are located on the back of the device, in the traditional upper right corner. Front cameras: No. 1 double - 10 megapixels and No. 2 8 megapixels for determining the depth of the 3D scene.
The device runs on two batteries with a total capacity of 4380 mAh and supports fast charging.
Additionally: the number of SIM cards - 1 replaceable + 1 electronic, fingerprint sensor, NFC, LED indicator, Always-On Display function.
The body of the phone folds in half like a book. On the reverse side there is an additional display that acts as the main display when the smartphone is bent. The screen is 7.3" in book mode and 4.6" when folded. The smartphone uses a new Dynamic AMOLED matrix, designed specifically for devices with the ability to bend. Support for Dolby Atmos/AKG (surround sound). Will be available in four colours: black, green, blue, blue. Camera with an improved matrix and new processing algorithms (photo quality is better than that of its predecessors). There is support for Samsung Pay.
