The main difference from the Galaxy Fold is in tablet mode, when the main screen is half-bent (like a tablet). New matrix Dynamic AMOLED. Fast UFS 3.1 memory, twice as fast as UFS 2.1. Foldable display with mechanical hinge system.
Side fingerprint scanner. The screen frequency can be changed manually (13 -120 Hz) to save battery. The hinge part of the smartphone may vary in colour. A brush is built under the screen to clean it from dust and dirt.

Very good device! The form factor itself is very cool! The representative function is off the charts. I am the owner of an iPhone 12 Pro Max and Galaxy Fold2. No one paid any attention to the 12th iPhone. This same device every time causes a lot of conversation, admiration and attracts attention. Even watching a movie, even working in Excel... the only thing missing is pen support. The rest is absolutely great! And, well, it’s almost impossible for a normal adult man to type something on the keyboard without errors on an external screen. It is very narrow and the keyboard becomes simply microscopic. But you can close your eyes to this, having such a huge internal screen. Plus I constantly run into a full memory. The nature of the work is such that a lot of photo/video materials are constantly arriving. What is really missing here is either a memory card or 1 TB internal storage. Foldable smartphones are still a curiosity for the people. And the price tag on them can not be called democratic. Nevertheless, at the dawn of August 2020, Samsung demonstrated to the public already the third bendable model, which will complement the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip clamshell on the shelves and replace the first flexible Samsung Galaxy Z Fold on store shelves.
Modernized appearance
The smartphone has been well modernized with an enlarged external display. Instead of a tiny screen with a diagonal of 4.6" by modern standards, the second generation of Flip carries a full-size 6.2-inch display on board. It is made on the basis of the Super AMOLED matrix and, taking into account the aspect ratio of 25:9, shows an image with a resolution of 2260x816 pixels. The main screen of the device has also grown in size — henceforth its diagonal in the open form reaches 7.6".

The substrate for the tablet part of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 was a newfangled Dynamic AMOLED type matrix with a fast refresh rate of 120 Hz. The image resolution of the internal display is 2208x1768 pixels (5:4 aspect ratio). A couple of selfie cameras no longer “eat up” the usable screen space, but are placed directly in it in the form of pinholes. By the way, the smartphone spied on the configuration of the triple main camera from a colleague in the workshop Samsung Galaxy Note 20.
Smartphone supercar
Inside the mobile device, the most advanced hardware is installed with the Snapdragon 865+ chipset and 12 GB of RAM at the head. In addition , the smartphone has a side fingerprint scanner, up-to-date wireless communications (including an NFC chip), two batteries in different halves of the body with support for accelerated wired and reverse wireless charging technologies. The model is rightfully considered a fashion product of the company — obviously not everyone can afford it, but the interested glances of others will attract no worse than some supercar.
The body of the phone folds in half like a book. The smartphone uses a new Dynamic AMOLED matrix, designed specifically for devices with the ability to bend. There is support for Samsung Pay. There is advanced object tracking when shooting from the main camera. When you bend the phone into laptop mode, both screens change their functionality and adapt to ease of use. For example, when typing text, the lower part will act as a keyboard, and the upper part for typing.
