Curved screen

— smartphones in which one or two edges of the screen are bent "down" (towards the back of the case, away from the viewer), and the displayed image comes to these edges.

This design gives the device an unusual appearance and makes the screen more comfortable to view from some angles. On the other hand, it significantly affects the cost; the useful area of such a display, with the same screen size is somewhat smaller than that of a flat one; and for some users, this shape can create inconvenience when holding the device in their hand. Therefore, curved screens are rare, they are mostly found among flagship devices (see "Features").
