A fisheye lens forms a circular image with a 180° field of view. Unleashing the imagination, this model lets you create characteristically distorted photographs for work and just for fun. According to Sigma, this allows it to be used not only for ordinary photography, but also for technical purposes. For example, the lens can be used to demonstrate the usual view from the window of a car or an airplane cockpit. The lens uses a multi-coated SLD (Special Low Dispersion) lens to reduce chromatic aberrations. It is possible to use a light filter (attached behind the rear lens).
The lens comes as a kit for Canon EF, Konica Minolta AF, Nikon AF, Pentax AF or Sigma AF mounts.
