Sigma 70mm f/2.8 Art DG Macro

The first macro lens in the Sigma Art line of art optics. The model is suitable for both full-frame cameras and cameras with an APS-C image sensor. It is available in many versions for common SLR and mirrorless systems. The optical scheme of the lens includes 13 elements in 10 groups, including 2 aspherical lenses to increase the resolving power at short distances to the subject, 2 FLD and SLD elements to minimize chromatic aberrations.

Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG Macro Art is equipped with a drive for automatic focusing, and it has no mechanical connection with the focusing ring in the lens design - the model uses electronic control of the autofocus system. The photographer has access to manual focus adjustment at any time. The model has a 9-blade diaphragm, and its front frame has a thread for 49 mm filters. The lens is optionally compatible with teleconverters to increase the focal length and a macro flash (via a special adapter).
