A compact on-camera microphone designed as a multifunctional audio solution for Sony Alpha series camcorders equipped with a Multi-Interface Shoe (MI Shoe). The device is based on an array of four electret capsules. Connection to the camera is made without cables directly through the "hot shoe", which ensures the transmission of a digital audio signal and powers the microphone from the camera's battery (Battery Assist technology).
