A high-end model from the flagship tier of OLED TVs. The face of the TV is a 65-inch panel, providing individual control of each pixel. The screen resolution meets the 4K format — 3840x2160 pixels, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. When connecting a gaming console through HDMI v 2.1 ports, variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low latency mode (ALLM) also become available. The TV supports HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision and is IMAX Enhanced certified.

Image processing is powered by the robust Sony Cognitive XR processor, which uses AI algorithms for scene recognition and ensures maximum quality broadcast. Brightness and contrast are enhanced by XR Triluminos Max and XR Contrast Booster systems. The audio system onboard the Sony BRAVIA 8 II K-65XR8M2 is called Acoustic Surface Audio+ — it comprises two speakers and two subwoofers embedded directly into the screen.

The total power of the sound system reaches 50 W, with Dolby Audio adding more depth to the sound. The TV is based on the Android TV operating system with the Google TV overlay. Voice control of the model is supported even without the remote control — a corresponding microphone is built directly into the TV's body (on the left side).
