Polishers like the Stanley FatMax SFMCE100B are great for regular car care. You can use them to apply wax to body panels for paint protection or evenly spread a water-repellent on glass. But the use case isn’t limited to cars: the tool can polish stone kitchen surfaces, lacquered furniture, or even a yacht hull (if you’ve got one).

Design features

The pad diameter is 254 mm (10 inches). The set includes a foam pad for applying and spreading wax and a sheepskin bonnet for final polishing. Comfortable handles with rubber inserts and the low weight (2.27 kg without battery) make it easy to work on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Speed is adjustable in three ranges: 2200, 2400, and 2800 RPM. Such high speeds aren’t suitable for liquid polishes, which will splatter. There’s a lock-on switch for extended jobs and a soft-start system so the tool spools up smoothly without jerks. Another plus is its quiet operation: the noise level is just 64 dB, which is rare for power tools.

Affordable tool, but without AKB and charger

The Stanley FatMax SFMCE100B comes at an attractive price, but the AKB and charger are not included. To operate it, you’ll need a Stanley FatMax V20 battery with a capacity from 1.5 to 6 Ah. You can also use it with other Stanley cordless tools or garden equipment, making the purchase more versatile.
