Full-size, closed-back gaming headset with over-ear cups and retractable microphone. In the hierarchy of the gaming headsets of the Danish brand SteelSeries, it occupies an unusual role - in terms of price, this model is more of an entry-level model, but it borrows many interesting things from the higher-status Arctis 7 and Arctis 9 headsets and can claim to be middle class in terms of its capabilities.

For example, identical 40 mm Pro-level dynamic drivers are installed here, which provide high-quality audio signal transmission over the entire frequency spectrum (approx: from 10 to 40,000 Hz). The difference between Arctis Prime and other representatives of this series lies in technical simplifications, such as the lack of backlighting, a simplified sound virtualization system, or a wired connection.

If most of the company's headsets support Bluetooth or wireless connectivity, Arctis Prime can be connected to any PC or gaming console equipped with a standard 3.5mm mini jack. In particular, you can connect directly to a PC or laptop, and to a PlayStation or Xbox using the audio output on the gamepad. The device is made according to the classic scheme of closed-type headphones: a metal headband with a lining combines two massive cups that completely cover the ears. To improve comfort and fit more comfortably, the length of the headband can be adjusted with a wide stretch and the cups can be rotated slightly horizontally. The microphone is equipped with a proprietary retractable mechanism, so if necessary, you can hide it inside the case and use the headset as regular wired headphones.
