An elite wired headset from the Danish brand SteelSeries, the main feature of which is a GameDAC 2 remote digital unit with a built-in amplifier and a DAC based on the ESS Saber 9218PQ40 chip. The digital block allows you to perform magic tricks with sound that are not subject to regular entry-level and mid-level gaming headsets. It supports 96kHz/24-bit Hi-Res audio, has a built-in 10-band equalizer, and allows you to adjust the volume ratio between the microphone and headphones or change the sample rate.
At the same time, the control unit plays the role of a stylish accessory - black gloss looks luxurious, a massive volume knob resembles the controls of a Japanese amplifier, and a monochrome display informs the user about the connection status, volume, etc. By the way, the display is touch-sensitive, so you can use it to control the equalizer and other sound settings. GameDAC also supports simultaneous connection to multiple devices with the ability to instantly switch between them.
And the built-in Sonar Audio based surround sound system is fully compatible with Tempest 3D audio systems for PS5 and Microsoft Spatial Sound used in Xbox consoles. The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro headset itself belongs to the class of full-size closed-type overhead models with an adjustable headband and passive noise isolation. The metal headband features our signature 4-position ComfortMAX headband that evenly distributes weight without slipping off your head or putting unnecessary pressure on your ears.
Massive ear cushions completely cover the ears, creating excellent passive noise isolation and enhancing the effect of immersion in the game. The device is equipped with a retractable ClearCast Gen 2 microphone with bi-directional algorithmic noise reduction, which minimizes not only background noise, but also the sound of keystrokes and breathing. The microphone is not detachable, but it can be turned off using a separate button. The headset and amplifier also come with a pair of interchangeable USB-A - USB-C cables, one and a half and five meters long.
