10 hours of use after 15 minutes of charging. An additional sensor (proximity sensor) provides a tear-off height of 0.5 mm. 8 weights to adjust the weight and balance of the mouse.

Introduced in 2018 by SteelSeries, the wireless mouse is aimed at demanding gamers. The signal is transmitted using Quantum Wireless technology and a transmitter that supports fast charging. The manufacturer claims that 15 minutes is enough to provide 10 hours of battery life. The SteelSeries Rival 650 Wireless mouse is equipped with two sensors. The main one is responsible for the accuracy of movement and allows you to adjust the resolution in increments of 100 DPI, up to a maximum value of 12000 DPI.

An additional sensor monitors the tear-off height, eliminating cursor fluctuations even when the case is raised by 0.5 mm. The model received 6 programmable buttons and a scroll wheel. The main switches are rated for 60 million clicks. The weight of the mouse body can be adjusted using eight 4-gram weights included in the package. The premium design of the manipulator is underlined by support for 8-zone RGB backlighting.

Model overview based on user reviews
The SteelSeries Rival 650 Wireless mouse is praised for its high-quality build, stylish design, and precise performance. Users appreciate its ergonomic design, customizable backlighting, and adjustable weight, making it comfortable for extended use. The mouse offers both wired and wireless modes, with a battery that holds charge well over time. However, several users have reported issues with the rubber side grips peeling off, causing discomfort and aesthetic concerns. Some have also experienced software glitches and button lag over time. Despite these drawbacks, the mouse's overall functionality and features, such as programmable keys and a good sensor, are well-received. For its price, users expect more reliability, especially concerning the side grips.

Bought this mouse back in 2018. Still works perfectly. Only disassembled and cleaned it once inside. The side grip under the thumb came off over time. Bought a new grip, but it also eventually came off. Could have glued it with superglue, but I just ripped it off and use it as is. Looks a bit less aesthetic, but it doesn't matter. The battery is still alive and holds charge for several days.
Very high-quality and stylish mouse. Precise microswitches and scroll wheel. The battery has hardly degraded over 5 years of use. Can be used in both wired and wireless modes.
Satisfied with the high price. Lateral gum linings (especially under the thumb) are glued and start to tie here and there.

Ergonomic dimensions, due to this the hand fits well on it and does not get tired. There is software and it is easy to configure, plus you can choose the backlight options for yourself. The assembly is excellent, there is no play or creaking. In general, there is a pleasant tactile sensation, and all the buttons and the wheel are easy to press, I like it.

Several backlight zones can be adjusted via the driver, making it comfortable to use even during 8-10 hour battles. No double clicks. The wheel does not play. I don’t play every day, but for a long time - rarely but accurately. So far so good. The settings do not disappear and the mouse does not lose.
Very comfortable grip, precise positioning, adjustable weight, settings via the original driver with a simple interface
