Short description:
The compactness and lightness of this high-aperture zoom lens is unattainable by means of traditional optical technologies. Only the design of the Tamron XR delivers f/2.8 aperture throughout the 28-75mm focal length range, all in a very compact body, making it the smallest and lightest zoom lens in its class. In addition, the special Di (Digital Integrated Design) design makes this model the first choice for digital SLR cameras, as its specifications are specially adapted to them. Usually fast zoom lenses are not used as standard lenses, they are too big and heavy for this. But these problems do not apply to this model. This lens can be used all the time, and with the same fantastic quality on both digital and analogue SLR cameras. The use of combinations of XR, LD elements and aspherical lenses significantly reduces aberrations.
