The router, in combination with Ubiquiti MeshPoint (AFi-P-HD) access points (sold separately), forms a Mesh Wi-Fi System (AFi-HD).
High-performance wireless router (router) class AC1750 with support for Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), USB 2.0 connector and four high-speed LAN ports with a bandwidth of up to 1 Gbps. It is positioned as a product of the upper price category, aimed at users who need not only a powerful Wi-Fi router, but also a truly stylish device with an original LED display system that makes it easy to configure and monitor the main parameters of the device.
Designed to work in Ubiquiti Mesh Wi-Fi System Mesh networks as a master device (AmpliFi HD Mesh Point slave units are purchased separately). As part of a Mesh system, it is able to ensure the functioning of a large wireless network in a large cottage, country house or large apartment, i.e. is focused on situations in which conventional SOHO class routers cannot cope with the task assigned to them. Among the important features of the Ubiquiti AmpliFi Mesh Router Wi-Fi router, it is worth noting the impressively high claimed performance (up to 450 and 1300 Mbps in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands) and the ability to connect USB drives. For incoming connection to the provider's network, a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port or Wi-Fi connection is used.
