XTRFY MZ1 - ZY'S RAIL   - Designed by Rocket Jump Ninja - Unique shape - Ultra-light construction - Pixart 3389 sensor   Shape Is King The no.1 factor when it comes to aim. Reinvented by a legend in the game. Meet the Xtrfy MZ1 - Zy's Rail.     &nbs... morep; Designed By Rocket Jump Ninja Considered by many to be the world's top mouse reviewer Zy "Rocket Jump Ninja" Rykoa is one of the most experienced and trusted experts within the field of gaming mice. After more than 150 reviews and over 20 years of experience in first-person shooter games Rocket Jump Ninja has become a go-to source for both casual gamers and pro players looking for advice on gaming mice.       A Shape You've Never Seen. To Land Shots You've Never Hit The MZ1 is built on experience from testing over 250 gaming mice and designed with one goal in mind: to help gamers improve their aim. After years of studying and reviewing the best mice in the world Rocket Jump Ninja knew what a mouse needed but the shape didn't exist. Now it does.       ZY'S RAIL. The rails along the top of the mouse are its most defining feature there to assist with comfort grip and aim but the name is also a tribute to the classic Railgun in Quake Rocket Jump Ninja's no.1 game for 22 years.       State-Of-The-Art Components Selected by one of the toughest critics in the world the components in the MZ1 are top-tier and well-proven. Under the shell you'll find an ARM 32-bit microcontroller and the Pixart 3389 sensor.       Ultra-Light Yet Durable One reason why Rocket Jump Ninja and Xtrfy teamed up is because we share the same perspective on quality. Specs are meaningless if they don't improve your play. And performance doesn't matter if it doesn't last. The MZ1 is constructed to provide consistent top-grade performance for years to come.       Effortless Glide For Fast Plays The MZ1 features 100 % PTFE skates with rounded edges for smoother glide while the shape and hole structure of the shell make for a steadier grip. Enhancing airflow under your palm the holes also help you stay comfortable.       Customizable RGB RGB just leveled up. The crisp illumination of Xtrfy's mice is even more impactful with the transparent shell of the MZ1. Choose your color. Switch between numerous LED effects. Adjust the brightness. Or turn the illumination off. All settings are made directly on the mouse.       No Software Needed The MZ1 lets you adjust the CPI Polling Rate and Lift-Off Distance at the flick of a switch and press of a button. And when you're done adjusting your settings the top button can be set to "F11" so you can bind it to whatever you

Model overview based on user reviews
The Xtrfy MZ1 – Zy’s Rail is a lightweight gaming mouse designed for esports enthusiasts, featuring a unique shape that is particularly suited for claw and finger grips. Users appreciate its flexible paracord cable that doesn't hinder movement and the powerful PixArt 3389 sensor, which ensures precise tracking. The mouse is equipped with durable Kailh GM 8.0 microswitches and comes with additional feet. However, some users note that the lack of software for configuration might be a downside, as settings are adjusted directly on the device. The perforated design, while aiding in weight reduction, can accumulate dust, making it challenging to clean. Despite its ergonomic design, it may not be suitable for those with a palm grip, and the plastic surface might feel slippery for sweaty hands. Overall, the Xtrfy MZ1 is praised for its comfortable and innovative design, though it might not be ideal for everyone.
Pros

Cons

good model, liked it

the mouse cannot be recommended to everyone without exception, because it is only suitable for people who use a finger grip, and the price of the mouse is quite expensive for a wired solution, so reading it can be a rather controversial purchase.
shape, but obviously not for everyone, it obviously won’t suit people with a palm grip, it might suit people with a claw grip. Most of those who have a finger mouse will clearly like the shape. I was also pleasantly surprised by the cable, which turned out to be quite flexible, but there are better options, especially among custom ones. the legs turned out to be quite good especially in comparison with the black legs
extremely strange coloring, lack of software, plastic may seem quite slippery for sweaty hands.
The mouse is wonderful. The main thing is that the shape fits.

I've been using the mouse for a few months now. I used to have the Viper Mini before. During the first week, my hand hurt a bit because it was getting used to the new shape, but then it went away. The mouse is for claw grip. In that case, the designated areas for holding fit perfectly. There might be a bit too little space for the palm since the mouse itself is small. The mouse control is carried out on the mouse itself (button press combinations). The steps on the wheel are felt well. I played shooters with the mouse, and there were no issues (only at 2ms).
Lightweight, fits the shape
Paracord cable that doesn't hinder mouse movement
The sensor doesn't fail
Additional feet included
If you set a 2ms response, it sometimes double-clicks. Dust gets into the holes and is hard to clean.

After trying, you can take it.

I got it for free during a Moyo promotion, convenient shape, very comfortable, resembles the Magic Mouse from Apple, but this one is more comfortable, with a weight of 69g, this mouse sometimes disappears in your hands, settings are at the device level, not the software level, which is a big plus for people with multiple OS, and for those who want to save every MB of RAM. The mouse has an interesting development history and a unique shape. The wire is thin, but deliberately so, because it's so light you don't even notice, making wireless unnecessary on a desktop. This mouse can accommodate all popular grips. It's made not for the market, but "as if for themselves" by Quake players.

Successful cooperation

The Xtrfy MZ1 Zy's Rail is a gaming mouse, or rather an esports mouse, developed by the Swedish company Xtrfy in collaboration with an Australian professional Quake 3 player named Zee "Rocket Jump Ninja" Rikoa. Made from matte translucent plastic with perforations to reduce weight (only 56g) and RGB lighting.

Not afraid of water

You don’t have to worry about the ingress of drops of water or sweat — the electronics have a moisture-proof coating. Inside the mouse are durable Kailh GM 8.0 microswitches, a 32-bit ARM processor, and a pre-flagship Pixart 3389 optical sensor. Sensitivity can be adjusted from 400 to 16,000 CPI.

weightless wire

Lightweight, soft and memory-free, the Xtrfy EZcord Pro cable does not interfere with gaming and provides the lowest possible input lag compared to wireless mice. The polling rate is 1000 Hz. And the smoothly sliding mouse feet are made of Teflon (of course, a spare kit is provided).

Like on rails

The shape of the Xtrfy MZ1 is symmetrical, that is, for right-handers and left-handers, except for two additional customizable keys on one side only. And on the main keys there are ergonomic recesses for the Zy's Rail fingers, that is, "Zi rails", or the Railgun weapon from Quake 3. Fans of keys without recesses will like the Xtrfy M4 and M42 models more.
