It is positioned as a product of the upper part of the middle price category of the sample of 2020, aimed at both hardcore gamers and e-sports players and beginners in computer games.

The ergonomic body shape of this model is inherited from previous models in the series — Viper and Viper Ultimate, but the body of this device has a smaller size, which is optimal for users with a small palm. It has a symmetrical shape and outwardly seems to consist of separate panels sewn together. The top panel is covered with tenacious rough matte black plastic. The scroll wheel of the Razer Viper Mini is rubberized and covered with fine tactile notches.

Through the use of proprietary Razer Synapse 3 software, it is possible to remap buttons, record and use macros, fine-tune sensitivity and tear-off height.
