— the most advanced type of brakes to date: braking is carried out due to the contact of the pads with a special disc mounted on the wheel, and the force from the handle is transmitted by the hydraulic system. Thanks to all this, both high power (typical, however, for all disk systems) and good modulation (the “feeling of the brakes”, the ability to accurately adjust the force on the handle) are ensured. At the same time, hydraulics has its drawbacks, the main of which is the sensitivity to damage. Even small damage leads to a pressure drop in the system, and the brakes fail, and it is quite difficult to repair them. The cost of such systems is quite high. They are found mainly in professional bikes.
