Monochrome laser printers, which are practically predecessors of more modern Kyocera printers from the ECOSYS family. Like in the newer models, this uses the proprietary cartridge-free technology with long-lasting components, making it ideal for large offices with high printing volumes.

The main feature of all FS printers is the durable ceramic drum with a lifespan of 100,000 to 500,000 pages (depending on the model), where the only regularly replaceable consumable is the toner. This approach significantly reduces the cost per page and allows companies and organizations with high daily document printing volumes to save noticeably.


The Kyocera FS range includes solutions for offices with various workload levels, starting from compact models with a printing speed of up to 20 pages per minute to large-scale combos with speeds of up to 60 pages per minute, duplex printing, and high monthly capacity. All models are designed for A4 format printing, with resolution mostly being 1200x1200 dpi, less often 600x600 dpi.

A typical set of connectivity interfaces includes USB and optional LAN, with some models also featuring a flash drive port and card reader. Most FS printers are equipped with LCD screens but do not support network printing via Wi-Fi Direct and AirPrint. Some models support modular connections and can be equipped with additional paper trays, hard drives for storing print jobs, and user authentication systems.
