XT60 – into the cigarette lighter

For compatibility, the XT60 must be specifically a charging input, and for XT60i versions, proper source recognition provides a "smart" contact; many cars turn off the socket with the engine off — charging won't start. This cable does not work with 230 V and doesn't replace the solar MC4→XT60: here the source is the car's on-board network. Safety is simple: don't exceed the fuse current, keep the connection dry, and during long charging, it's better to start the engine to prevent draining the starter battery. In practice — recharge the charging station while driving from the cigarette lighter, gaining 10–15% capacity on the way to the campsite.
