The Kyocera TASKalfa lineup consists of high-performance multifunctional devices in A3 format, designed for handling large volumes of documents in medium and large offices. Unlike the ECOSYS series, which is targeted at small and medium businesses, TASKalfa offers enterprise-level solutions in the "four-in-one" category, combining copying, printing, scanning, and faxing functions. The range includes monochrome and color multifunction printers with print speeds from 20 to 60 pages per minute, intended for intensive use with a monthly load of up to several hundred thousand pages.

A distinguishing feature of the products from this Japanese manufacturer is the highly durable amorphous silicon drum, which provides a long printing resource and requires no regular maintenance. It also has high sensitivity and resistance to external factors, ensuring high print quality throughout its lifespan. Another notable feature of the multifunction printers is the HyPAS (Hybrid Platform for Advanced Solutions) software platform, which allows for expanding MFP functionality using specialized JAVA applications and web services for everything from print automation to integration into an existing electronic document management infrastructure.

The model range covers a wide performance spectrum: the more affordable TASKalfa models are suitable for smaller departments, the mid-range is represented by TASKalfa models with color printing of 25 – 40 pages per minute, while flagship MFPs can print at speeds of 60 – 70 pages per minute. Most models are equipped with security systems including data encryption, automatic duplex printing, auto feeders for 50 – 270 sheets, and support for mobile printing. Compared to MFPs from the Kyocera ECOSYS lineup, the TASKalfa machines have more powerful hardware, allowing them to print and scan documents more efficiently.
