Intel Raptor Lake Refresh (14 Gen)
— updated edition of the 13th generation Intel Core processors, announced in the fall of 2023. In fact, the Refresh family is a revision of the original Raptor Lake series of chips.The processors in the line still use a hybrid architecture of energy-efficient Gracemont E-cores and high-performance Raptor Cove P-cores. On average for the family, the clock frequency increased by approximately 200 MHz, and in some models of Core i7 processors the number of energy-efficient cores was added. Among the innovations in the 14th generation, Intel Application Performance Optimization (APO) dispatch policy was introduced, based on Dynamic Tuning Technology and working in conjunction with Thread Director. It prioritizes known games according to a whitelist, thereby providing performance gains. Intel Raptor Lake Refresh processors are backward compatible with existing 600 and 700 series motherboards and LGA 1700 socket coolers.
