Intel Core i5 Raptor Lake Refresh processors represent an update to the 14th generation of Intel processors, including a number of improvements over previous models. The focus is on increasing clock speeds and improving multitasking, and it uses the familiar LGA 1700 socket, allowing users to easily upgrade their systems at minimal cost. Corresponding to previous generations, the Core i5 chips of the Raptor Lake Refresh family use a hybrid nuclear structure, when the cores are divided into two types: powerful P-cores and energy-efficient E-cores, as is common in mobile ARM processors.
Specific cores are used depending on the current type of workload: P-cores are designed to perform complex tasks, while E-cores are better suited for solving simple tasks in the background. The hybrid architecture optimizes overall performance levels and reduces overall power consumption. Intel Core i5-14600KF is a processor with Raptor Lake Refresh hybrid architecture, combining six powerful cores, each of which is divided into two virtual Hyper-Threading threads, and eight additional energy-efficient cores. Two types of memory
Intel traditionally does not include a boxed cooler for processors with the K index, and it would not have been able to handle it. A large tower or even a liquid cooling system is definitely needed. RAM is supported by both DDR4 and DDR5, but not both types at once, with frequencies up to 8000 MHz. But there is no integrated video card, as evidenced by the F index.
