Motherboards from the once popular Biostar brand with rich functionality and attractive pricing policy. Most often in the ranks of Racing there are middle-class gaming models based on Intel Z490 and AMD X470 chipsets, designed for moderate overclocking of system components.
A typical set of slots and connections of the Biostar Racing board includes 4 slots for high-speed DDR4 memory modules, one M.2 slot for high-performance NVMe SSD drives, several video outputs, a LAN port, a pack of SATA connectors and a single slot for a graphics card. Support for paired operation of video cards in SLI / Crossfire mode is practically not found among representatives of the Racing series.

As the brains of the system, both Intel Z490 and AMD X470 caliber overclocker chips can be used, as well as mid-level models like AMD B450 or Intel B460. The use of such chipsets, coupled with a decent implementation of power circuits, makes Racing boards serious candidates for working with a pair of overclocked Ryzen 7 or Core i7.
Regarding additional features, everything depends on the specific model and its price. One part of the boards is limited to M.2 cooling and a simple backlight synchronization system, while others go further, offering the owner support for the fourth-generation PCI-E bus, advanced RAID controllers and network cards with increased bandwidth.
