Motherboards Biostar series PRO

Despite their positioning, most Pro models don't have any features that set them apart from competing Pro boards. For example, there is no moisture-repellent textolite or self-healing firmware. Usually, everything is limited to trifles like a system for registering problems with health sensors for CPU, video card, RAM and drive. Therefore, it is more correct to call them simple workhorses for the install and forget category, which usually complete simple office and home PCs.
At the same time, Biostar PRO boards, which were released at the end of 2021 and later, already have an integrated PCI-E 4.0 bus for ultra-fast data exchange between system components, and a rather powerful converter with 8, 9 or 10 power phases is provided to power the processor. Additional cooling is usually limited to the VRM heatsink, there is no additional cooling for M.2 slots. In the role of system logic, middle-class chipsets like Intel B660 and AMD B550 are used. To save some money, the manufacturer decided to limit itself to using available DDR4 RAM, rather than the more expensive and faster DDR5.
A few advanced PRO models should be singled out in a separate category. Usually they are built on the basis of the flagship Intel Z and AMD X chipsets and are designed to build entry-level and mid-level workstations. Unlike low-cost analogs in the PRO series, these boards boast a full-fledged RAID controller, a more serious cooling system and a powerful power subsystem, which frees the user's hands when choosing a powerful processor, designing a disk array and organizing a cooling system.
