As one of the leading players in the PC gaming market, Taiwanese manufacturer MSI is trying its hand at unfamiliar markets. So, in 2019, MSI announced the launch of the MSI MAG series of advanced mid-sized gaming PC cases, which will provide gamers with all the tools they need to build a powerful gaming machine. The MAG series includes mid-size models with a well-designed chassis, MSI lighting system, viewing windows and the ability to install a full liquid cooling system.
The MAG range is divided into two groups, the first includes MAG Forge cases, the second - MAG Vampiric. Both belong to the Midi Tower type, are equipped with viewing windows, do not have a pre-installed power supply and are friends mainly with ATX format motherboards. The differences between Forge and Vampiric are design and built-in cooling. In most Forge cases, the front door is made transparent and cooling fans with ring illumination are visible through it. Depending on the specific fan model, the number of standard fans can reach 4 at once, which in itself greatly simplifies the assembly and installation of the final system.
In turn, Vampiric cases gravitate towards a more traditional design, when the front door hides all the insides of the computer, and you can look inside only through the viewing window. Plus, a single cooler located at the top of the rear panel is responsible for blowing iron. Otherwise, the MAG Vampiric and MAG Vampiric models are identical. Both types of cases support hidden wire routing, are equipped with a window for installing a processor cooling system, are friends with the MSI Mystic Light Sync backlight synchronization system, and allow up to six cooling coolers to be installed inside the case.
