Cooler Master's Cosmos family includes flagship AAA-class cases that hold a special place in the company's pantheon. These are stylish, heavy and well-built chassis that cost a lot of money, weigh a lot and can fit the most gigantic video cards, large motherboards, full-sized water pumps and complex air cooling systems inside. Almost a representative of the Cosmos family looks like Henry Cavill on the set of Superman, so he is literally out of the box ready for at least an IT exhibition, at least for a fashion show.
In the Cosmos lineup, several similar chassis came out (Cosmos I, Cosmos II, Cosmos SE and C700), which were then improved and finalized at the request of the audience. Some have changed colors, the second have changed the front panel, the third added viewing windows. Moreover, for Cosmos II and Cosmos C700 this is not ordinary acrylic, but a single curved sheet of high-strength tempered glass, which is hinged and opens in the form of a door. Their front doors are usually made removable so that, if necessary, the user can remove the decorative cover and facilitate the release of hot air from the case.
For most Cosmos chassis, a flexible modular structure is a must-have, allowing you to swap drive pockets, remove expansion slots, rotate or move the motherboard tray. In some models, like the C700P, the standard pallet can be replaced with a larger one that better suits the server hardware. At the same time, each case is equipped with high-quality noise isolation, dust filters, replaceable casings for hidden wire pulling and optional RGB / ARGB lighting.
