Binoculars

— binoculars are devices with a pair of separate spotting scopes that allow you to observe with two eyes at once. This is more convenient and more natural than looking through a monocular, squinting one eye; in addition, the visible scene has a three-dimensional effect (with the exception of astronomical observations, though). The disadvantages of binoculars include greater weight, dimensions and cost than similar monoculars; in addition, with some vision problems (for example, strabismus), all their advantages are lost.
