— standard connector (or several connectors) USB version 2.0.Recall that USB is the most common interface for external peripherals nowadays. Through such a connector, you can connect a USB flash drive or hard drive to the server for direct data exchange, a printer to work as a print server, etc. fast and advanced standards — primarily USB 3.2 gen1 (see the relevant paragraph). However, even USB 2.0 is quite enough for relatively simple tasks — for example, working with the same flash drive or printer. In addition, many types of USB peripherals of newer versions can be connected to ports of this type (both with ordinary USB plugs — directly, and with USB-C — through an adapter); problems can arise only with high consumption equipment that requires high power supply — for example, hard drives that receive energy from a USB connector.
Also note that for additional convenience, the USB socket can be placed on the front panel; see "Options" for details.
