Slow-mo recording
— the ability to shoot slow motion videos using the main camera. Such shooting is carried out at an increased frame rate – more than 60 fps; thus, when played back at normal frame rate, a slow motion effect is created. This effect can be used both for artistic purposes and for quite practical purposes – for example, for precise fixation of fast movement that cannot be normally perceived by the naked eye. And the higher the frame rate during such shooting, the higher the slowdown. Nowadays, there are devices with very impressive filming speeds – up to 240 fps. However, it should be taken into account that such capabilities put forward high demands on the hardware and, accordingly, are expensive.Also note that slow-mo shooting can only be available at certain resolutions, which are not always the maximum; these nuances should be specified in the detailed characteristics of each model.
