Cougar Aqua is a universal series of liquid cooling systems for desktop processors with built-in backlighting. According to the manufacturer, these liquid cooling systems (LCS) can be an ideal solution for gamers who require powerful processor cooling combined with spectacular addressable lighting. From a design point of view, these are modern closed life-support systems, equipped with everything necessary for self-installation. The package includes several fans, a water block, a pump for fluid circulation, a passive radiator and fasteners for various processor sockets.

Aqua systems usually use two- or three-section fans with a diameter of 120 mm with a classic hydrodynamic bearing and PWM speed control. Operating from 500 to 1,500 rpm, these fans are quiet and efficient, comparable to traditional tower cooling systems. Two-section Aqua models with a TDP of about 250 W effectively cool processors at the Ryzen 7/Core i7 level, while three-section versions with a TDP of 350 - 400 W are designed to cool high-performance 16/20/24-core processors.

When producing Aqua models, Cougar pays a lot of attention to design and lighting. In particular, the popular Cougar Aqua ARGB model supports dozens of different lighting effects and is compatible with all popular backlight control systems, including Mystic Light, Aura Sync, RGB Fusion and Polychrome SYNC. Plus, it is equipped with a separate remote control for illumination control.
