— the presence of a special stand on which you can install the tool in a vertical position.

This feature is found exclusively in diamond drills (see related paragraph). Due to the large weight and high loads, it is not easy to keep such a unit on weight; and mounting on a stand actually turns the drill into a drilling machine and greatly facilitates the work. In this case, the tool is located on the guide rail, along which it can move; and the rail itself can be rigidly fixed in a vertical position (non-tilted racks) or be able to deviate from the vertical at a certain angle (tilted rack). The first variety is simpler, cheaper and more reliable, the second is more functional because it allows you to drill at an angle.
