The angled layout is especially convenient in tight spaces: it allows you to work even in openings a few centimeters wide, where it is impossible to use a tool with a traditional straight or pistol grip. On the other hand, for many classic tasks, such as drilling a wall or driving screws into it, corner models are not suitable. Therefore, relatively few of them are produced; most of these units are drills or wrenches.
