— a variant found exclusively in pneumatic tools (see "Power Source"). The flow switch itself is actually a speed controller, most often in the form of a distinctive rotary knob or lever. Reverse control through such a regulator is implemented as follows: the direction of rotation depends on which direction the switch is turned from the neutral position.
