Screwdrivers with screw magazine attachment
— attachment used in tools with a screwdriver function (see "Device"). It looks like a kind of store or disk, into which the tape with self-tapping screws fixed in it is “charged”; and a special block is installed in front of the cartridge, designed to supply self-tapping screws. This design allows you to tighten the screws as quickly as possible and without unnecessary movements: just load the tape from the magazine into the feed unit, start the engine and alternately press the working part of the tool to the desired points on the material. The automation that feeds the screws to the chuck works by moving the feed unit back and forth relative to the body: this unit moves back at the moment of twisting, when the tool is pressed against the material, and a special spring is responsible for returning forward. High speed work is especially useful when working with drywall; in fact, it is this specialization that usually has tools with magazine attachments.
