Screwdrivers with angled bit adapter
— models of a pistol layout (see the relevant paragraph), in which the cartridge has a removable design (often a quick-release one, see "Cartridge"), and the kit provides two cartridges — a regular one, where the nozzle rotation axis coincides with the tool motor rotation axis, and an angular , where the nozzle axis is bent at 90° relative to the motor rotation axis.
This configuration significantly expands the capabilities of the tool: the angular layout allows you to work in cramped conditions where you can’t get to when using a standard nozzle. At the same time, in this case, all the advantages of a pistol grip are retained — namely, general convenience and the possibility of using it on a wall, floor or other large plane (whereas for a purely angular design, with a straight handle, the latter is difficult). On the other hand, a detachable mount for interchangeable cartridges complicates the design of the tool, increases its cost and somewhat reduces reliability. Therefore, this design option is not common, and most of these models relate to drill-drivers (see "Device").
