Moreover, such a plug physically consists of two parts — a 20-pin and a 4-pin; this allows you to connect the PSU to both the 24-pin and the older 20-pin power connector. Separately, we note that if the 4-pin connector in such a block is not connected to the "motherboard", it must remain free — such power supply is not suitable for other system components.
