Dark Power is the quietest, most efficient and technically advanced power supply ever created by the German manufacturer Be quiet. Thanks to the use of advanced circuitry, high-quality acoustic gaskets and branded Silent Wings coolers with a special aerodynamic impeller, the models of the Dark Power series show wonders of noiselessness.

It's no secret that these power supplies are designed for enthusiasts with a tight wallet and increased energy requirements. The top efficiency class (80 PLUS Titanium or Platinum with efficiency up to 96%) and fully digital PFC and LLC + SR control provide better voltage regulation and ripple noise reduction. Reliability is also enhanced by the use of Japanese-made capacitors designed for long-term service at high room temperature, which fully meets the high requirements of server equipment.


The range of this series traditionally includes several variations of the "normal" Dark Power PSU, as well as the Pro version of Dark Power with an increased power limit, improved main line bandwidth and additional SATA and MOLEX connectors. Classic Dark Power is usually represented by models with a capacity of 650 – 1000 watts, the Pro version usually has a power reserve of 1200 or 1500 watts.

In the spring of 2021, the manufacturer brand introduced the 12th iteration of the power supply with a distinctive feature in the form of a separate overclocking button that allows switching between four independent 12V buses. Another important advantage of the novelty was the unique design, in which internal wired connections are excluded. This model replaced the well-known Dark Power 11 power supply, which was released back in 2015.
