Silicone baking form
Silicone baking form
— food grade silicone is one of the most common materials among all types of baking and roasting molds. In appearance and properties, this material resembles rubber — in particular, it is soft and elastic. However, unlike rubber, food-grade silicone is very resistant to heat — it tolerates the operating temperatures of modern ovens without consequences (although it's ok to clarify the specific temperature limit separately, not all types of silicone “feel normal” at 250 °C or more). Such products are tasteless and odorless, chemically inert (do not emit any substances during use) and are easy to clean. In most cases, such forms do not require lubrication, the prepared products do not stick to them; and softness allows you to easily remove ready-made dishes from molds. Also note that this material is absolutely insensitive to bumps, falls, pressure and other similar troubles; except that sharp objects damage it quite easily, but even this may require a very unfortunate set of circumstances. With all this, silicone products are inexpensive and often come in bright, attractive colours.Show
