Note that stoppers used in carafes (see "Type") do not belong to lids in this case; the presence of a stopper in a decanter with a narrow neck must be clarified separately in each specific case. And having a lid on a carafe means that the vessel has a wide neck and is mainly intended for non-alcoholic beverages.
