Touch single lever mixers
Single lever touch
— a variety of single-lever mixers (see the relevant paragraph), equipped with an additional manual switch — in the form of a button, sensor or even a foot pedal. The lever in such models, as in conventional single-lever ones, is usually responsible for setting the pressure and temperature, but the water is turned on not by the lever, but by the mentioned switch. The advantage of such a control scheme is that the optimum temperature and pressure can be set in advance, and then simply turn on the water as needed. On the other hand, such mixers are quite complex and expensive.Note that a similar control format is found in non-contact models (see the relevant paragraph), but they do not belong to this category.
