However, in addition to this, the design may provide other formats of work. The specific number and set of such formats should be specified separately, however, anyway, their presence significantly expands the functionality of the watering can; the flip side of this is an increase in cost and some decrease in reliability. The latter is due to the fact that switching between modes is usually done by turning the front of the nozzle, where the nozzles are located; and moving parts are inevitably subject to additional wear. However, with proper workmanship and careful handling, the service life of such a watering can can be more than decent.

— "Massage" — one or more powerful, dense jets;
— "Turbo" — an analogue of massage, but, usually, with one jet, very powerful;
— "Sauna" — spraying a jet into fine mist, so that the skin is treated not only with water, but also with an air stream;
— "Champagne" — soft jets saturated with air bubbles;
— "Economy" — a special mode that reduces water consumption without much loss of efficiency.
