For more information about a long spout, see the relevant paragraph, here we note that such models are intended only for a bath and are not designed to serve a washbasin — the spout simply does not reach the sink, even if it is made swivel. In addition, such a spout is small and does not protrude much beyond the mixer body, which in some situations is also an advantage.
