Servo motors for RC models for
Servo motors
— separately sold servos for RC models.Servo drives (colloquially also "servos", "steering machines") are one of the key elements in any radio control system for models. Such a drive is connected to one of the receiver channels; when a corresponding signal is received from the remote control to the receiver, a control pulse is sent to this channel, on the basis of which the servo axis rotates by a certain angle. And this axis, in turn, can be connected with the steering of the car, with the ailerons of the aircraft, etc.
A separate purchase of servos can be associated with both the repair or assembly of the model, and with the replacement of existing steering machines — for example, with more “high-torque” (with a large turning force), lighter, etc. Compatibility with a specific model should be specified separately, however, the requirements for compatibility in this case are noticeably softer than for many other parts; so the same servo model can be suitable for a wide variety of models (including different types — for example, cars and airplanes).
